LEXINGTON, OH (Thursday, May 12, 2022) — The Paul Miller Racing team is headed to driver Bryan Sellers’ home track of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in search of their fourth consecutive podium finish at the facility.
Sellers and co-driver Madison Snow drove to a third-place finish in both 2018 and 2021, while Sellers and then-co-driver Ryan Hardwick scored third in 2019—marking three podiums in the team’s last three visits to the central-Ohio facility.
The two-hour, 40-minute Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio marks the third round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Sprint Cup, a title which the No. 1 Quartz Engine Oil-backed BMW M4 GT3 leads. The team leads the Sprint Cup, comprising races of two hours and 40 minutes or less, following a sensational win at the Grand Prix of Long Beach in only the team’s second start with the all-new BMW M4 and a solid drive from sixth to fourth in the race at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca earlier this month.
“Mid-Ohio is a real racers track,” Paul Miller Racing team owner, Paul Miller said.
“It’s a classic American road course, and one where we have some good history. I know Bryan always likes to race there because of his friends and family that can attend, and hopefully, like the last three times we’ve run there, we can give them a good result!
“It could be a tricky race with rain, but both of our drivers are good in tough conditions. But, as always, the competition level in IMSA is incredibly high, and anything can happen.”
The Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio kicks off with practice Friday, May 13 at 4:00 PM ET. Sunday’s race will be shown LIVE on USA Network starting at 2:00 PM ET. Subscribers can also watch flag-to-flag coverage on NBC Peacock.

“BMW won at Mid-Ohio last year in the previous generation car, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what this M4 can do around the 2.258-mile track! It’s Bryan’s home track, and his parents, Doug and Barb, will be there to cheer us on, which always makes the weekend a little more special. My last two trips to the track with this team resulted in Paul Miller Racing on the podium, and that’s a streak we are hoping to continue!”

“Mid-Ohio is my home event and has always been special for that reason. It’s always been an opportunity to share what we love to do with all my family and friends that have been there to help and support us along the way. This season has proven so far that we don’t quite know what to expect at every new track we go to, and this one will be no different. I do know that everyone at PMR has been doing their homework since Laguna, and I am hopeful that we can make some more progress this weekend.”
