SEBRING, FL (Wednesday, March 15, 2023) — The Paul Miller Racing team is headed back to Florida for the second race of the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship—the esteemed 12 Hours of Sebring.
Drivers Bryan Sellers, Madison Snow and Corey Lewis will be looking to repeat their 2018 feat, when the trio won the race en route to the season-long IMSA GTD championship.
The central-Florida endurance race also marks the one-year anniversary of the Paul Miller Racing team’s first race with the all-new BMW M4 GT3. The team ran well in their 2022 BMW debut until being taken out of contention by an LMP2 car.
“Sebring is one of the hardest races of the year,” Paul Miller Racing team owner, Paul Miller, said.
“Managing the traffic, the strategy, and of course the relentless bumps for 12 hours is never easy—and rewards the best teams in the end.
“We were lucky enough to be that team in 2018 and hopefully we can repeat that victory this year!”
The Paul Miller Racing team opened the season with an eighth place finish at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. They currently sit eighth in the IMSA GTD championship going into the 12 Hours of Sebring.
Practice in Sebring begins Thursday, March 16, at 10:10 AM. Saturday’s 12 hour race goes green Saturday, March 18, at 10:10 AM. Beginning at 4:30 PM, the race will air at USA Network. However, the entire event, flag-to-flag, will be available on NBC Peacock.
Madison Snow
“I’m looking forward to being back at Sebring, one of the most iconic races of the year. Another thing that makes Sebring special is it’s one of the only 3 races we actually get to drive at night—one could argue two since you don’t even really need headlights at Daytona! Night racing is one of my favorite things since it’s so much more demanding. This was the first race for us in the BMW and we have learned a ton in the year since! It’s going to be a long one but I know all of PMR is up for it and ready to attack.”
Bryan Sellers
“Sebring is one of the races that we look forward to every year as a team. It’s a race that is the definition of speed and team work. I think everyone at PMR is excited to move on from the previous result at Daytona and get a fresh start this weekend. We have had good results in the past and I am very hopeful that we will be able to do the same this year.”
Corey Lewis
“Teaming up with Bryan and Madison at Paul Miller Racing has always made for an extremely competitive combo. As an organization, we have proven we know how to get the job done at Sebring and hopefully we can do that again. Sebring is by far the most physical of the tracks we have on the IMSA schedule, but that’s what makes winning there so rewarding!”
