LAKEVILLE, CT (Friday, July 21, 2023) —The Paul Miller Racing team qualified ninth today for the GT-only IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event at Lime Rock Park.
Drivers Madison Snow and Bryan Sellers will be looking for some luck in tomorrow’s race to move forward and extend their 212-point championship lead.
Last year, the pair started seventh aboard their Quartz Engine Oil-backed BMW M4 GT3 and were running third by the end of the first lap. The pair will be looking for a similar performance in this year’s event and put on a show in the home race of the Paul Miller Auto Group.
Previous results at Lime Rock Park include two wins, 2018 and 2022, and two second place finishes, 2017 and 2021.
“It’s going to take an outstanding performance by this team to go back-to-back with wins this weekend at Lime Rock, but if anyone can, it’s these guys” Paul Miller Racing team manager, Mitchell Simmons said.
“The low-grip and high-deg tracks have been a point of weakness for us lately, but we’re trying to find our way around it.
“Hopefully our car races better than it qualifies because we’d like to put on a show for all of the fans from the dealership and their families that will come out to watch.”
Saturday’s Northeast Grand Prix goes green at 12:10 PM ET, with live flag-to-flag coverage on USA Network and NBC Peacock.

“Qualifying today was difficult here at Lime Rock. Even with only GT cars, there’s still a ton of traffic because it’s such a short lap, so getting a clean lap during the session is really hard. The goal at the start of the race tomorrow will be to keep our nose clean starting towards the back and from there we can move forward. This place always requires you to play with strategy, and thankfully our team is really good at that. So I’m hopeful we’ll still get a good result.”
