DETROIT, MI (Friday, May 31, 2024) — It’s been a difficult weekend for the Paul Miller Racing team, as the team has struggled to find pace around the new downtown Detroit street circuit.

Despite qualifying 11th, drivers Madison Snow and Bryan Sellers have been comfortable with the car and happy with the balance, but the team finds themselves unable to match the pace of the field.

“It’s incredibly unfortunate, if I’m being honest,” Paul Miller Racing team manager, Mitchell Simmons, said.

“Our team has been working hard getting the car to drive as well as it possibly can, our drivers have been pushing for every last tenth, and BMW have been assisting every step of the way to try and eek every last ounce of performance out of this car.

“The balance is good, Bryan and Madison are happy from a drivability point of view, but even after adding as much downforce as permitted in the regulations, we still find ourselves well off the pace to the field.

“We’re going to make some big changes tonight because we might as well swing for the fence and hopefully that will get us closer to the rest of the field.”

You can watch all the action from Saturday’s Detroit Sports Car Classic on USA Network on June 1st at 3 PM ET. Live flag-to-flag coverage will also be available to stream on NBC Peacock.
