Elkhart Lake, WI (Thursday, August 1, 2024) — After two tough races with fast cars that didn’t produce results, the Paul Miller Racing team is looking to bounce back with a good finish at Road America.
One of five tracks the Paul Miller Racing team won at in 2023 en route to their IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD title, Road America is both a driver and fan favorite on the schedule.
Drivers Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow will be looking to repeat the success of 2023 on their first visit to Road America in the GTD Pro class. The iHeartRadio BMW M4 GT3 duo are especially eager for a good result following two difficult races for the team.
At the prior two rounds at Watkins Glen and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, the No. 1 team seemed primed for a good result before small hiccups saw them finish eighth in both races.
“The last couple of races have been difficult, and I know everyone on the team is hoping we can turn it around this weekend at Road America and get the kind of result that I know we can achieve,” Paul Miller Racing team owner, Paul Miller, said.
“The drivers have been operating at such a high level, the crew has been flawless in car prep and pit stops, and it’s a shame that our results have not reflected that effort.
“This was a good race for us last year, taking home a win, and hopefully, we can parlay some of what we learned from that race into this year and get back on the podium.”
Sunday’s IMSA SportsCar Weekend race from Road America will air live on NBC Peacock beginning at 2:00 PM CT / 3:00 PM ET.
Bryan Sellers
“I’m very excited for Road America, it’s been a good place for Paul Miller Racing in the past. In the last few races, it seems like our pace and competitiveness has been ramping up, and we are hopeful that this event will be a turning point for us. We have everything we need to get a result and will do everything we can to deliver one.”
Madison Snow
“Road America was a great race for us last year. I’m really looking forward to this year hoping we can have a similar performance. The track is certainly an old-fashioned race track and it’s absolutely great to actually race on. There are a lot of good passing opportunities and it flows really well. My fingers are crossed we end up back on the podium!”
