Indianapolis, IN (Thursday, Sept 19, 2024) — The Paul Miller Racing team is headed back to the site where they clinched the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD title—the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

This year, having moved up to the GTD Pro category, the No. 1 BMW M4 GT3 squad are in the hunt for two titles—leading the Michelin Endurance Cup, and sitting third in the year-long championship fight.

Co-drivers Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow are fresh off their first win in the GTD Pro category, scoring a victory from pole last time out at VIRginia International Raceway.

The duo are joined once again by endurance driver Neil Verhagen for the six-hour show. The trio scored a podium finish in the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona and finished fourth at the 12 Hours of Sebring. A strong finish at Watkins Glen for the Sahlen’s Six Hours looked to be in the cards before a penalty late in the race.

Sellers, Snow and Verhagen currently lead the IMEC by just two points with two races left on the schedule—the six-hour TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks at Indy and the 10-hour Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

“Of course we are thinking about the Michelin Endurance Cup and making progress in the overall GTD Pro championship, but more than that I think we’re just looking to build on two strong results in a row and continue that momentum,” Paul Miller Racing team owner, Paul Miller, said.

“It’s no secret that the jump up to Pro from GTD has been challenging. We weren’t expecting any different—but it is always still a shock to go from a season where, at this point, we had won five races in GTD to having just one win to our name so far.

“But, getting a podium at Road America followed by a pole and win at VIR, it feels like we’re on an upswing and hopefully we can carry that through to Indy and through the end of the year.”

The six-hour TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway goes green Sunday, September 22nd at 11:40 AM ET. Live flag-to-flag coverage will be available on NBC Peacock, while the final three hours of the race will also air LIVE on NBC.

Bryan Sellers
“I’m looking forward to getting back to Indianapolis with the Paul Miller Racing team. We had a pretty good race here last year, finishing third, and it’s always going to be a special track for me because it’s where we clinched the championship. While we are in the championship hunt again this year, especially for the Endurance Cup, I think our focus this weekend will mostly be just repeating what worked at VIR and minimizing our mistakes. The points situations will definitely be in the back of our mind, but executing for all six hours is the most important thing.”

Madison Snow
“Indy is going to be a great weekend for us. We have shown strong momentum toward the end of this season so I’m looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish here. This race will be a challenge with the traffic, much like it was last year. But the facilities in Indy are very nice and it’s always special to race at such a historic track. I can’t wait to have another weekend with the PMR team!”

Neil Verhagen
“I’m excited to be heading back to Indianapolis for the 6 hour race, as Paul Miller Racing has been very strong here in the past. I’m thrilled to be teaming up with Bryan and Madison again this weekend and rejoining the entire Paul Miller Racing crew. We’re focused on extending our Endurance Cup lead before heading into the final round at Petit Le Mans.”
