Bowmanville, ON, Canada (Sunday, July 14, 2024) — Another tough day today for the Paul Miller Racing team as they come home eighth in Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Starting fifth in the hands of Madison Snow, the No. 1 BMW M4 GT3 machine was a rocketship at the start, moving up to third place in the opening minutes of the race. At the end of Madison’s stint, a great pitstop by the iHeartRadio-supported team had the No. 1 in net-second place.

However, a miscue during a yellow flag period would drop the No. 1 machine towards the rear of the GT field. Falling back put the team in a more dangerous position on track, with Bryan Sellers incidentally making contact with the No. 13, garnering a drive-through penalty.

The Paul Miller No. 1 would come home eighth at the line.

“This was a difficult day for us,” Paul Miller Racing team owner, Paul Miller, said.

“There were a few mistakes today that really were nobody’s fault, but they just kind of snowballed over the course of the race. It was just an unfortunate day. There’s no finger-pointing at anyone, really. It’s just one of those days. That’s racing.”

The Paul Miller Racing team is back in action the first weekend of August from Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

Bryan Sellers
“I’m gutted today. I feel like we had a really good race car, but we missed execution on a lot of levels. Our crew delivered one of the best results they have delivered in terms of preparation and the pit stops. And, unfortunately, we just weren’t able to hold up our end of the bargain. I feel disappointed in the incident with the No. 13 and the contact I made that basically ruined my race and theirs. Unfortunately, these things happen in racing sometimes. We strive to be better every weekend. We have to be better.”

Madison Snow
“It’s a bummer when the race starts out so well to walk away with an eighth-place finish. The crew gave us a great car, we had great pit stops, it was just a couple of mistakes that really ended up defining our race. It’s a shame because I think this was going to be a really good track for us and a good opportunity for a big result. The first stint was really fun out there dicing it up, the level of competition in GTD Pro is really high and being competitive at the front with those guys was a lot of fun.”
