WATKINS GLEN, NY (Saturday, June 24, 2023) — The Paul Miller Racing team continued their strong form in qualifying at Watkins Glen, securing fourth on the grid for tomorrow’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.
The team worked fast to get the car ready for qualifying following an incident in practice that saw the No. 1 machine hit by an LMP2 car towards the end of the session.
Once on track, Madison Snow set a best laptime of 1:45.434 in mixed conditions to put the No. 1 Quartz Engine Oil-backed BMW M4 GT3 P4 for tomorrow’s endurance race. He, alongside co-drivers Bryan Sellers and Corey Lewis will be looking for their first Watkins Glen victory as a team and an opportunity to extend their 62-point IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD championship lead.
“We’re all very proud of Madison for the lap he put in in qualifying,” Paul Miller Racing team owner, Paul Miller, said.
“The conditions were tricky with the rain shower that passed through right before he went on track, and we saw more than one car get caught out by them.
“But, he managed to pull out a great lap for our car, and put the team in a great place to fight for a result tomorrow.”
All six hours of Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen at Watkins Glen International will air flag-to-flag on NBC Peacock beginning at 10:30 AM ET. Television coverage will air on USA Network starting at 2:00 PM ET.

“Qualifying went pretty okay today! I definitely really wanted pole, but fourth on the grid is all we had today. Thankfully, it’s a long race tomorrow and we’ll have plenty of time to make up positions. I’m not sure what the weather will bring, but it seems like we have a good car in both the wet and the dry so that should benefit us no matter what the day throws at us.”
