WATKINS GLEN, New York (June 22, 2025) – In his first-ever qualifying session at Watkins Glen International, Dan Harper delivered an impressive performance for Paul Miller Racing, securing P2 on the GTD PRO grid in the No. 48 BMW M4 GT3 EVO with a best time of 1:44.737 – just 0.142 seconds off the pole.
The No. 1 BMW, qualified by Madison Snow, posted a lap time of 1:45.532, which will see the trio of Snow, Neil Verhagen, and Connor De Phillippi start the six-hour endurance race from eighth position.
With varying car setups across both entries, the team used qualifying to maximize performance potential and gather valuable data for race day.
Both cars showed encouraging pace, which will be crucial for managing traffic and strategy in a 56-car field, the largest since March’s Twelve Hours of Sebring.
“I am pleased with the qualifying effort. It’s a very challenging track. Dan and Madison both did really good jobs,” Team Principal Mitchell Simmons said.
“We had slightly different setups on each car to continue to learn for the race. And we’ve achieved what we wanted to do. I think that we’ll be in really good shape for the race tomorrow. And hopefully the weather holds out and we’ll have a good clean race,”

“The qualifying went quite well for the 48 car. We weren’t sure where we were going to end up in qualifying. In practice, we’ve been pretty strong.
“The Lamborghini looked strong, and they ended up being on pole. Dan had a lap going. His first two sectors were purple, which were the quickest overall, and it just got away from him a little bit in the third sector, so he’s hard on himself.
“But in all honesty, starting P2 and at the front is good. Going into a six-hour race, you’re out of mayhem. That happens in the mid-pack at the start. Keep our heads down and hope for a strong result,” added Dusty Renteria.
Green flag drops at 12:10 p.m. ET for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. Fans can watch live network coverage on NBC beginning at noon ET, with full race coverage available on Peacock in the U.S. and internationally via IMSA.TV and YouTube.

Dan Harper
”First time here at Watkins Glen and I have to say in quali mode it’s really fun. It’s a really high-speed track, so a lot of commitment needed, and that’s exactly what I like. So P2 on the grid, which is a perfect place to start. The guys from Paul Miller gave me an extremely fast qualifying car, so let’s hope we can carry that into tomorrow. We’ve got six hours to make up one spot—that’s the aim.”

Madison Snow
“I think the car was very good for us in qualifying. We didn’t quite get the lap time we wanted, but it’s a close field. Knowing we’ve got a car that can race well over six hours is what matters. We’ll work our way forward and see where we end up.”
