BOWMANVILLE, ONT, CANADA (Sunday, July 9, 2023) — The Paul Miller Racing team scored an incredible third victory of the 2023 season, taking the IMSA GTD honors at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Co-drivers Madison Snow and Bryan Sellers qualified third aboard their No. 1 Quartz Engine OIl-backed BMW M4 GT3, but started second following an issue with a car ahead. Snow, starting the race for the team, dispatched the No. 27 car ahead, taking the lead for the first time on lap eight of the race.
Snow would hand over to Sellers with just under two hours remaining in the race. While Sellers would come out behind the No. 27 yet again, he would make quick work of the car. Between the two drivers, the No. 1 machine would lead 79 of 111 laps.
The victory marks the team’s first at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, with a previous best IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship result here of third. It also is the team’s third win of the year, following victories at the 12 Hours of Sebring and Grand Prix of Long Beach.
“This was a great day! I’m so proud of everybody on this team for today’s performance,” Paul Miller Racing team owner, Paul Miller said.
“We had great strategy, great pit stops, great driving by both Bryan and Madison. And it’s extra impressive because they did it all without telemetry coming off of the car to the pit box.
“Today wasn’t easy, it was a challenge for everyone, and to come out on top in those conditions is just the best thing we could have asked for today.”
The Paul Miller Racing No. 1 is back in action July 21-22 for the home race of the Paul Miller Auto Group—Lime Rock Park for a GT-only event. The team also enter as reigning race winners at Lime Rock.

“We pulled off a fantastic win here at CTMP. Anytime you are on the podium is a special occasion—but this one even more so as Bryan and I have only been on the podium here once together and never won. This one was extremely hard-fought every lap, especially racing with the No. 27. I always enjoy racing with Roman [De Angelis]. He’s a tough racer and it’s fun to compete with him on track. But then my stint was over and it was time to hand over to Bryan. It always makes me nervous when I sit out the end of the race and watch him take it to the checkered, however there’s no one I have more faith in to bring the car home on the top step!”
Bryan Sellers
“Wow! What a day. Good results have been eluding us here, so to get the win today was just really special for all of us. It’s one of the few tracks I hadn’t yet won at in IMSA, so to add that to the list is just incredible. I want to thank all the guys on the team for making it happen. The strategy was perfect, especially since we had no telemetry coming off the car. And the pit stops were flawless all the way around. And of course Madison. He’s grown a lot as a driver and I think that’s just become more evident as the year has gone on. It was a total team effort today, and that’s what feels the best!”
