LAKEVILLE, Connecticut (July 24, 2016) – Paul Miller Racing and team drivers Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow finished fourth in the Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park on Saturday in the No. 48 Castrol EDGE Lamborghini Huracán GT3.

The race result was the team’s second top-four finish in the last two races, including a season-best third-place showing two weeks ago at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The No. 48 was the top finishing Lamborghini in both races.

“It was certainly a tough battle through the whole race,” Sellers said. “We just kept fighting, fighting and fighting and ended up in a decent position. One more and we would have been on the podium for the second race in a row. We would have loved that, but sometimes you have to take the best out of it that you can, and that’s exactly what we did today.”

Snow started the Lime Rock race from fifth on the grid and ran with the leaders throughout his race-opening stint.

“It was a fun run,” Snow said. “Going into the race I was worried about the heat. It ended up not being an issue at all. The clouds kind of covered the sun for a little bit it seemed so I was able to push for the entire time and not get worn down at the end.”

Snow steadily made his way to the front and passed for the lead just before the one-hour mark of the two-hour and 40-minute race. He kept the No. 48 up front for the next 23 minutes, leading the GTD field for 25 laps.

“I was just pushing all I could,” Snow said. “We definitely had a really quick car, it was difficult in traffic, we had quite a bit of understeer, but you could get a good lap out of it.

“It was just difficult to place the car, you couldn’t work around other cars on the track. It was very hard to keep somebody behind you, so I have to applaud Bryan for being able to do that at the very end of the race.”

Sellers took over for just over the final hour of the race and held fourth place to the finish in a tight-train of other top GTD competitors battling in the lead pack.

“From my perspective we have absolutely nothing to hold our heads low about today,” Sellers said. “It was a great team effort from top to bottom. The team had a strategy call that worked wonders for us, and I think Madison and I executed our jobs as best we could have.

“As a team we are starting to hit our stride. We are figuring out what each other needs, how to communicate and how to get things moving in the right direction.”

Only four races remain on the 2016 IMSA GTD schedule, and the No. 48 team plans to keep their recent momentum going through the stretch run.

“I am very excited for the next races,” Snow said. “Looking at the lap times, everybody was very close, so we know we are pretty balanced with the other cars. The next race at Road America should be pretty good for us.”

Next up for Paul Miller Racing and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is the Continental Tire Road Race Showcase at Road America, August 5 – 7. The weekend’s featured IMSA WeatherTech race can be seen live on FOX Sports (FS1) Sunday, August 7, at 4 p.m. EDT.
